Timothy R. Farley, D.D.S.

University of the Pacific (now Dugoni) School of Dentistry- San Francisco, DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) 1985

University of California at Berkeley, B.S. 1981, Nutrition and Food Science

Dr. Tim Farley is an East Bay native born in Oakland and raised by two school teacher parents in Richmond. His mother came to the US as a British college exchange student, meeting her husband at the University of Arkansas. She spent five years going to grade school in Burma and Rangoon. Thus, Dr. Farley is a first generation American! One of six children he was a top ten graduate of De Anza Senior High School and named Most Outstanding Male Student. While on a full academic scholarship to U.C. Berkeley,  he earned a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science. Immediately after college, he was accepted to University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Following his National and State Board passing on his initial tries, he established his dental practice in Dublin in August of 1985, where he remains at the same Village Parkway location.  He is married to Kathleen, whom he met at Berkeley.  Kathy grew up in Marin County.  Raising their family in San Ramon where their three children attended Neil Armstrong Elementary, Pine Valley Middle School and California High School,  the Farleys have strong ties to both the public schools and youth sports in San Ramon, Dublin and the Tri-Valley.  Dr. Farley is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Southern Alameda Dental Society (SACDS) and several volunteer and non-profit organizations. He served two terms as an Area Director for SACDS. Previously he was President of the Valley Volunteer Society (Pleasanton), Co-Chair of the Neil Armstrong Elementary Academic Boosters, Executive Board of San Ramon Little League/ Tri-Valley Babe Ruth League. He was a vigorous Athletic fund raiser for his children's 17 (!) seasons as athletes at California High School in San Ramon. It's no surprise two of his children are now in Law School and another finished his second year of Pro baseball.                Dr. Farley has more than a thousand hours of Continuing Education certificates in Restorative, Esthetic, Oral Surgery, Endodontic (Root Canal), Orthodontic and Pediatric                                       modalities. As a master clinician, he has placed over 20,000 restorations at his Dublin practice.
