WE HAVE MULTIPLE WASHING AND ALCOHOL STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE OFFICE. Keep in mind, hand cleanliness is an important aspect of

virus (cold and flu) control.

​We have an in-house ARANET CO2 monitor as well. 


  • Each treatment room has window exhaust ventilation to create a NEGATIVE PRESSURE environment! Not every dental office offers this additional protection.
  • Surgical masks, and 95 type respirators where appropriate by clinicians.
  • A full aerosol "containment room"," isolated from common areas where Dr Farley uses the hand-piece (drill)
  • HEPA filters in our main ventilation heating/cooling unit, and in each room, including reception
  • 5 in-office Inflow intakes which takes inside office air to outside using the rooftop HVAC unit
  • HEPA filters in portable germicidal ventilation units, including UV-C light disinfection 
  • PPE wear including gowns, and head-wear
  • Coronavirus specific disinfectant usage throughout the office, EPA certified
  • Over the patient aerosol suction with internal UV-c for restoration procedures

The SF Bay Area Counties are continuously evaluating mask use as continued strain mutations are still prevalent, and very contagious. Some health facilities continue to encourage mask use as well.


Throughout 2023 and now 2024, we have heard increased reports from our patients of positive tests so there are good reasons in a dental setting, caution and protection for everyone MUST be the course. This is one of the reasons patients and staff at our office will be required to wear masks. We are vaccinated and "boosted," yet this does NOT translate to relaxing our protocols just yet.

Is the pandemic over? In short, not really. There are still hundreds of deaths weekly in the US.


MASK WEARING IS STILL A REQUIRED ELEMENT IN OUR OFFICE EVEN IF YOU ARE VACCINATED.

We understand there are no longer mask mandates in California as of early April, however, there is still Covid!


Our office practices SUPERIOR aerosol control with window exhaust ventilation. Our patients have seen in person how window exhaust fans use negative pressure to maintain clean air flow during their visit, similar to an ICU room. Many office spaces cannot accomplish this simple, yet vital, accessory to protect your health.

WE ALSO HAVE TAKEN MEASURES ABOVE AND BEYOND REQUIREMENTS WHICH INCLUDE HEPA AIR FILTRATION AND

UV-C ultraviolet disinfection coupled with a 99.9% germicidal feature with ozone, avoiding fogging chemicals.
